Microsoft is treating Xbox fans to a early holiday season. The company has announced a permanent price cut for the Kinect and brought it down to $109.99 in the US.The new price is taking effect

throughout the regions of North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
Other regions like Australia and New Zealand will see the reduced price effect from October 4th onwards. The announcement came via a blogpost from Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, which stated that the final retail price will vary in each region depending on the currency and other variables. As of now, there are no price slashing plans for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
That's not all. The company also announced that it will be selling a bundle of Xbox 360 accessories at a lower price rather than purchasing each one separately. The Xbox 360 Essentials Pack will be available for $79.99 and include the Xbox 360 Controller, Media Remote Control, HDMI Cable and a three-month long Xbox LIVE Gold Membership. Buyers will save $55 on purchasing the entire bundle, so Microsoft claims.
