Reports claim that Apple is likely to treat its fans with two variants of the iPhone 6 this year and not just one.
According to C Technology, Apple iPhone 6 will come in two different models based on screen sizes – a 4.7-inch one and a 5.7-inch one. The report claims that this is a one-time exception that Apple will be making this year by releasing two iPhones with different screen sizes.
C Technology claims that the report is directly from unnamed Foxconn sources. The Foxconn source also revealed that the 5.7-inch variant will pack biometric features such as the Touch ID fingerprint scanner.
There have been reports earlier that Apple will be releasing the iPhone 6 in second half of 2014, with patent filings pointing to the possibility of the phone having a wrap around display.
