The new grille keeps in with the new family look while the bumpers have been tweaked as well. The tail gets a new set of LED tail lamps just like on the Superb. Internationally the Superb comes in the choice of Style and Outdoor spec. In India we will continue to get only the more rugged Outdoor version. This means that the Yeti will continue to come with plastic cladding on the bumpers and sides. Skoda has given the car a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels. The interiors dont see much change however Skoda have installed a new three-spoke steering wheel just like the unit on the new Superb. The Yeti also gets a new tyre pressure monitoring system, electrically adjustable driver seat and cruise control along with keyless entry and start. Mechanically the car remains the same with the choice of two diesel engines. Both displace 2.0-litres but the lower spec 110PS sends power to the front wheels while the higher spec 140PS gets all wheel drive. The 140PS version gets a six speed manual while the 110PS uses a 5-speed manual. The Yeti still doesnt come with an automatic. We expect Skoda to launch the new Yeti in the coming months and hopefully it will revive flagging sales of the previous model that was a genuinely nice vehicle but sadly never caught on in our market.

The Range Rover LWB also offers executive class seats that recline seventeen degrees a compared to the standard version offering seats that lean eight degrees. There are 10.2 inch screens at the rear and deployable tables too. The stretched Range Rover is only available in the Autobiography and Autobiography Black trims.

Land Rover will also showcase the Range Rover Evoque equipped with the new nine-speed automatic gearbox. The new gearbox will not only improve fuel economy considerably, but is a big improvement in terms of refinement and responsiveness.

Jaguar will have the new F-Type coupe on display at the Auto Expo. The new F-Type coupe is said to be considerable stiffer than the drop-top, so dynamics are likely to improve further. The one-off Jaguar F-type-based Jaguar Project 7 concept will also be present at the show. An ode to the Le Mans-winning D-type of 1956-57, the Jaguar Project 7 is unique for its lowered windscreen, carbon-fibre splitter and a fairing behind the driver’s seat.

Jaguar will also bring the C-X17 sports crossover concept. The C-X17 marks many firsts for Jaguar. It is the first crossover in the company’s 91-year history. It’s also the first product to make use of Jaguar’s lightweight aluminium architecture. Still very much in concept stage, the Jaguar C-X17 to be shown in India will feature a more production ready cabin.

Jaguar Land Rover will also display some India-specific variants of its existing line-up.
