Lenovo Vibe Z to be available for Rs 35,999</div>
Lenovo has followed up the success of the Vibe X smartphone with a new launch – the Vibe Z. The Chinese company has added the Vibe Z to its premium series of smartphones at a price of Rs 35,999. This is now the second cheapest Snapdragon 800-powered smartphone in the market and its closest competition is the Google Nexus 5.<br />
<br />
The phone is a sleek one featuring a thickness of a mere 7.9mm as well as a weight of 147 grams. The Vibe Z packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, which should help you multitask with a number of apps. It also features a 2GB RAM and comes with 16GB of built-in storage space. Going by the images of the phone on Lenovo’s website, it looks highly unlikely that the Vibe Z will have an expandable memory option.<br />
<br />
Vibe Z features a 5.5-inch, 1920 x 1080 Full HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that features a pixel density of 400ppi and comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. As far as the snappers on the phone go, the Vibe Z features a 5-megapixel front camera and an 84-degree wide angle lens that could be really good for selfies or video chatting. There’s also a 13-megapixel primary camera with a BSI sensor, capable of shooting 1080p HD videos.<br />
<br />
The phone also has provision for 4G LTE connectivity. Powering all these features is an integrated 3000mAh battery. The phone also features USB OTG that allows users to access daya from pen drives and even charge from other smartphones. Lenovo Vibe Z will run Android version 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. Lenovo Vibe Z will be available for sale this month through Lenovo’s exclusive stores as well as multi-brand outlets.</div>

Not only has it been put together using some of the best components currently available, it also offers the purest Android experience possible, and gives owners access to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. The Galaxy Note 3 is, as you can probably gather, a sequel to the Galaxy Note 2. It brings a whole raft of improvements to the table, and it is currently the only phone or phablet that's compatible with Samsung's new Galaxy Gear smartwatch (support for devices such as the Note 2, and the Galaxy S3 and S4 should arrive before the end of the year).</div>

Under the hood, the HTC One isn't all that different to Samsung's new Galaxy S4 — it features the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU (although it runs a little slower), 2GB of RAM, and a 1080p screen — but it is also a very different beast thanks to Sense, the bold new user interface HTC has loaded into the smartphone. It also features an aluminum shell, unlike the Samsung Galaxy S4, which has a plastic shell.</div>

There's an awful lot to like about the Galaxy S4 — the powerful CPU, plenty of storage space, a user-replaceable battery, the microSD slot, the fact that it can be used as a remote control for a DVR. It is very much like HTC's new One handset, except marginally better in almost every way (except, perhaps, for the plastic shell).</div>

Motorola Moto X</h3>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #252525; font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 15px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
I used to be pretty partial to Motorola handsets back before the iPhone. They were well built, and while they relied heavily on gimmicks, delivered decent performance and long-term reliability.</div>

The Moto X is interesting, not because it is manufactured by Motorola – now owned by Google – but because it takes a new approach to computation power. Rather than one chip with multiple cores doing the work, the Moto X has a total of eight cores spread over four different chips, each doing a different thing. This is supposed to both speed up the handset and make the battery last longer.</div>

Answered "yes' to one or more of these questions? The Galaxy Mega may be for you!</div>

It's clear that Samsung is carpet-bombing the marker with handsets in a variety of sizes, and this 6.3-inch phablet (cross between a phone and a tablet) is at the high end for what's possible – and plausible – for a smartphone in terms of screen size.</div>

The mega is certainly not for everyone, but if you want a smartphone that you can use as a tablet, then this might be worth a look.</div>

The phone happened to catch my attention the other day, so I decided I would write this post about it and go into details about the specs and what this phone offers. So, how about we get to it!</div>
<h4 style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: 'Alegreya SC', serif; font-size: 20px; font-weight: 400; margin: 0px 0px 1.33em; text-rendering: optimizelegibility;">
Design</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: Arimo, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 1em;">
This Google smartphone is 5.43 x 2.72 x 0.34 inches (69.17 x 137.84 x 8.59 mm) and weighs 4.59 ounces (130g). This phone is slightly heavier than the iPhone 5, but weighs less than the Google Nexus 4. Really, even though the Nexus 5 is slightly heavier than the iPhone 5 you can barely notice it. Also, the phone has a rubberized soft housing, which feels pretty nice and will help you get that vice-like grip around your phone.</div>
<h4 style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: 'Alegreya SC', serif; font-size: 20px; font-weight: 400; margin: 0px 0px 1.33em; text-rendering: optimizelegibility;">
Display</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: Arimo, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 1em;">
The Nexus 5 comes with a 4.95” display that has a resolution of 1920×1080 with 445ppi. Images, video, and everything else comes through super sharp, colorful, and detailed. The display is a noticeable improvement over the Nexus 4 with its 318ppi and 768×1280 resolution.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: Arimo, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 1em;">
Not only is it an improvement when compared to the Nexus 4, but it also kicks the iPhone 5 screen’s butt! The iPhone has a 4-inch display at 1136×640 with 326ppi; that’s 119 pixels less per inch and a way smaller resolution.</div>
<h4 style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: 'Alegreya SC', serif; font-size: 20px; font-weight: 400; margin: 0px 0px 1.33em; text-rendering: optimizelegibility;">
Battery</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: Arimo, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 1em;">
There’s not really much to talk about when it comes to the battery in the Nexus 5. The phone comes with a 2300mAh battery that supposedly has up to 17 hours of talk time, 300 hours of standby time, and up to 8.5 hours of Wifi. And, the battery has wireless charging built in. You should also know that the battery in non-removable.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: Arimo, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 1em;">
The battery is only a slight improvement compared to the Nexus 4′s 2100 mAh battery. There’s not much else I can say. I mean, we all want as much battery juice as we can possibly get. Still, we won’t really be able to judge the battery until we use it ourselves; because I doubt we are going to get anywhere close to 17 hours of talk time or 8.5 hours of wireless time.</div>
<h4 style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: 'Alegreya SC', serif; font-size: 20px; font-weight: 400; margin: 0px 0px 1.33em; text-rendering: optimizelegibility;">
Processor, GPU and RAM</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: Arimo, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 1em;">
When you buy the Nexus 5 smartphone you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 800, 2.26GHz processor, an Adreno 330, 450MHz gpu, and 2 GB of Ram. The processor is only slightly better than the Nexus 4′s quad-core Snapdragon that was clocked at 1.7GHz. With that said, the Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 800 can pretty much match or beat the A7 chip that’s in the iPhone 5.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: Arimo, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 1em;">
The Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 800 can handle a lot for what you’re paying. The processor and GPU equal a pretty fast experience and should be able to keep up with most/all of the stuff you normally do on a phone. If you are worried about the phone being slow, then don’t be. You will definitely be able to run Candy Crush Saga or Temple Run 2 without a single issue.</div>
<h4 style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: 'Alegreya SC', serif; font-size: 20px; font-weight: 400; margin: 0px 0px 1.33em; text-rendering: optimizelegibility;">
Storage</h4>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: Arimo, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 1em;">
When you buy the Nexus 5, you have to pick between a 16GB and a 32GB model. It would probably be best to go with the latter because the phone has no microSD card slot. I think this will be a problem considering that a lot of people don’t want to have a huge assortment of cloud services to manage/have extra space. Still, 32GB should be enough for most people.</div>

The Nexus 5 has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera which offers image stabilization and auto focus. You can also record 1080p video with the 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. Besides the 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, the phone also has a 1.3MP front facing camera that takes decent pictures and can record 720p videos.</div>

Worth the Money?</h4>

This is a powerful phone that’s priced so well that its sort of a mistake to buy any other phone. While some of the higher-end phones might have bigger screens, the Nexus 5 is a strong competitor with some powerful specs. While it does suck that the phone doesn’t have a microSD card slot, I can forgive Google for that.. Plus, we can’t forget about the display that is better than what the iPhone 5 has. I mean, seriously; take that retina!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #565656; font-family: Arimo, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 1em;">
Overall, the phone is a beautifully crafted mid-range phone and is a deal that’s hard to pass up on. If you’re looking for a new phone, then I suggest you pick one of these up. If you can’t afford the Nexus 5, then take a quick look at the Motoral Moto G. It’s a lot slower, but a lot cheaper too!</div>

Nexus 5 is no different, and gives experience that Google wants to offer to users on Android.<br />

Google launched its Nexus 5 smartphone globally and much to our surprise, the company redeemed itself for the mistakes it made with Nexus 4 in India by bringing the latest Nexus much earlier than last time around (almost one year). The stock Android 4.4 KitKat version is the best way to differentiate between the experience on a Nexus device and other vendor branded devices. The latest Nexus 5 therefore is no different, and gives the experience that Google wants to offer to users on Android.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
LG has flourished under the stewardship of Google for its Nexus devices, enabling it to iron out the flaws they have had in their previous smartphones. With Nexus 5, LG has taken the expectations to a whole new level. It is priced at R29,999 for the 16 GB version and R33,999 for the 32 GB phone.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
So what’s all the hoopla about Nexus 5 you may ask? For starters, it sports a five inch full high definition display, runs on the latest stock Android 4.4 KitKat OS, packs in a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU with 2 GB RAM and then the usual culprits—8 megapixel rear and 1.2 megapixel front cameras, plenty of connectivity options and a 2300 mAh battery.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
Not the most good looking smartphone, but it’s a definite step up from the glossy looks of the Nexus 4. That said with Nexus 5, you get a well-built sturdy device that comes with Corning Glass 3 display. During our usage, we found the display to be effective and even after some rough treatment the display refused to wither down. The full high definition display is bright, crisp and offers a colourful viewing experience. At 130 grams, the phone is a hair lighter than the Nexus 4, which weighs 139 grams.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
The other change in Nexus 5 is the placement of speakers, which are now more conventionally placed at the bottom unlike at the rear as was the case in the Nexus 4. Stock Android version has its hits and misses. The performance is smooth but we did miss some applications that should have been pre-installed.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
One really interesting thing</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
is that Hangout is the default app for messaging and SMS on the Nexus 5. So one has to install an SMS app from the Play Store to get standalone SMS capability. Camera is a big improvement over Nexus 4, but it is still well short of other major devices in the market, most notably the Nokia Lumia 1020. But for the pricing, Nexus 5 offers images of credible quality. Imaging capability in real time is sluggish and the auto-focus and clicking images is not the smoothest ride though.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
Battery life on the Nexus 5 is average and during normal usage, which we define as two hours of Web surfing and messaging, three hours on Wi-Fi, three-four hours on 3G and one hour of gaming, the smartphone lasted for little over half a day. Nothing to really boast about, but manageable. Google Voice feature deserves a mention, as it stands out for its effectiveness and accuracy. It is quick, effective and informative with any information delivered in no time.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
In terms of raw performance the Nexus 5 scored 21754 on Antutu, 7813 on Quadrant, 13402 (Unlimited) on 3DMark and 1353 on Vellamo HTML5. The Nexus 4 on the other hand scored 16440, 4245, 7075 (extreme) and 1159 respectively. It clearly indicates that the Nexus 5 is a far better performer.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
Overall, the Nexus 5 is a pure delight and ranks as one of the top smartphones in the market this year. LG has done it again; the product is a sure value-for-money. If an iPhone or Windows Phone device is not your cup of tea, then the Nexus 5 is a must have.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; padding: 0px 0px 20px;">
<i style="border: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Estimated street price: Rs 29,999 (16 GB)</i></div>
