Now, a report emerging from Korea has claimed that Samsung is adopting a blend of stainless steel, to increase the endurance, and plastic, to check the weight of the alleged 'premium' variant of the Samsung Galaxy S5.<br style="outline: none;" /><div style="outline: none;"> Further, the report claims that the rear panel covering the battery compartment will be made of metal, and will be cast alongside a plastic material. The report also suggests that the South Korean manufacturer is also working on aluminium and magnesium chassis with a sealed battery compartment for the alleged 'premium' variant of the Galaxy S5.</div> <div style="outline: none;"> An earlier report had indicated that Samsung is been planning to release two versions of the alleged Galaxy S5: a premium variant which will sport a metal chassis and a flexible OLED, and a variant which will come with the usual plastic body, as found on other Galaxy smartphones.</div> <div style="outline: none;"> Notably, the South Korean giant has also been rumoured to be working on the alleged Samsung Galaxy F, which would sport a metal body and could be launched in 2014 after the release of rumoured Galaxy S5. It can be expected that the current Korean report might be referring to the alleged Galaxy F. Earlier report revealed that Samsung's alleged Galaxy F's metallic prototype was manufactured in Europe and then was moved to South Korean giant's Vietnam production unit.</div> <div style="outline: none;"> On Thursday, a report quoted a Samsung VP as saying the company was considering the inclusion of an iris-scanning feature on the Samsung Galaxy S5. The VP added that Samsung is hoping to launch the Galaxy S5 in April. alongside the company's successor to the Galaxy Gear. The eye-scanning/iris-recognition feature has not been introduced on any smartphone (from a major manufacturer) as an unlocking method, and if Samsung actually uses this, it would become the first handset maker to debut the feature on a smartphone.</div> <div style="outline: none;"> Rumoured specifications of the alleged Galaxy S5 include a 64-bit Exynos chipset or a new Snapdragon chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 4000mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI on top</div> </div> </div>

Designer Ivo Maric imagined the Samsung Galaxy S5 to have the same size as Galaxy S4 but the screen size will be increased by further narrowing the bezels.<br /> <br /> Mixed emotions may be felt as the render pictures the handset to have an aluminum casing but faux leather covers Samsung's removable battery just like Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Lastly, Ivo Maric depicts a smartphone without a Home button.<br /> <br /> The Samsung Galaxy S5 concept image is based on U.S. Patent filings by Samsung and is not the real deal until Samsung or someone else leaks some legitimate or official photos.<br /> <br /> According to latest rumours, Samsung Galaxy S5 release date will be held next month on or before the Mobile World Congress. Samsung's executive Dong-hoon Chang confirmed that the company will release a new flagship phone next month. However, it is most likely that Samsung will hold a separate launch for its new handset like what it did to Galaxy S3 and S4 than present it in the tech event.<br /> <br /> Samsung is elusive in confirming the details of the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S5. However, in many occasions, the company hinted some of its possible features like qHD screen displays with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution; 64-bit Exynos octa core processor and iris scanner.<br /> <br /> Consumers can also expect 16 MP ISOCELL back camera and 4 MP front facing camera, 3 GB RAM, Adreno 330 GPU and longer battery life. Samsung Galaxy S5 will either pack the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat OS or the rumoured Tizen OS. </div>
