Nokia India is aggressively pushing both the phones with offers of free games and more space on its Skydrive.
Key features of the Nokia Lumia 1320
Screen: The phone’s six-inch, 720p supersensitive screen allows users to do more even with gloves on and is faster. The larger screen paves the way for a third column of tiles on the home screen. On standby, the screen shows notifications for missed calls and new emails.
Nokia Storyteller: This feature integrates images with location information into a chronological picture journey on a map, allowing users to easily share their visual stories. The feature becomes available from late January.
Apps: While the 1320 has the best of Lumia smartphone apps, such as unlimited and ad-free music on the Nokia Mix Radio, Nokia India makes it a sweet deal by offering a complimentary three-month subscription of Vimeo Pro.
Bottomline: The 1320 will retail at Rs 23,999 from January 13 onwards. It will be available in orange, yellow, white, and black.
Key features of the Nokia Lumia 525
Screen: Four-inch, super sensitive touchscreen
Camera: The 525’s five-megapixel, autofocus camera is supported by the Nokia Camera and Cinemagraph apps. The Smart mode allows users to remove ‘unwanted’ people from group pictures.
Games: Nokia India will offer free games from Gameloft, worth Rs 2,025 to subscribers of Airtel, Vodafone, Aircel, Reliance and Idea networks till March 31.
Apps: 525 users will no longer be required to register for Nokia Mix Radio — an unlimited, ad-free music stream. The phone’s new ‘Play Me’ button will take users directly to their personal radio station with one touch.
Bottomline: The Lumia 525 will retail at Rs 10,399, and will be available in gloss orange, white, yellow and matte black.
